We're thrilled to announce the winner of our special youth election held on October 11, 2025 during the Murfreesboro Farmers Market: Kitty has claimed victory! In a race that featured three adorable candidates—Kitty, Puppy, and Bunny—more than 70 young voters (all under 18) experienced democracy in action. This initiative, inspired by a young student's idea, gave children hands-on experience with the real voting process, from studying each candidate's platform to filling out official ballots.

Thank you to all the families who participated in this meaningful civic education moment. You're helping raise the next generation of informed, engaged citizens—and proving that it's never too early to learn that every vote counts!
